Why Faithfulness to something is a must.
You want to know why I’m so faithful?
Since I was a little girl, mother used to tell me to have faith. When I was part of a music band in elementary, an orchestra in HS and a writer today- her words always give me reassurance and remind me that I’m not alone.
I’m faithful because I constantly have conversations with God whether I’m aware of them or not.
I’m faithful because life has shown me good when bad has taken a role in my life.
I’m faithful because I know I have a purpose, goals to strive for and a happy life to maintain. The thing is that I can’t achieve any of that without him being present.
I’ve been taught, and now that I’m an adult I still, voluntarily, choose to stick by him. I have witnessed him work through me, for me, by me and most importantly with me. You may or may not be a believer of his work- and I’m not here to impose my believes on you- I’m here to share with you what I lean on when I feel there’s nothing to do here; when I’m left hopeless. That without him nothing works. If God isn’t necessarily your taste bud, it’s okay. But I encourage you to find your own special thing to lean on when you aren’t yourself. We all feel that way, it’s human.
Find your special bud, and rely on it, have hope in it, love it, cherish it, open up to it, and appreciate it. Whatever it is, whoever it is, it will be thankful. You just have to give it and yourself a chance.
